Which One Is For You Hotel, Villa, Apartment, Cottage (Part 2) Dec 14

This is part two of two of the properties that you should really think about staying in on your vacation.

Cottage/Cabin

This is a great place to go to if you are visiting the countryside on a cold winter simply because you can have the big traditional fire on and cuddle up with your partner in front of it. This is something to surprise your partner with as it is very romantic, she will love it. Going to a nice cottage has certainly got to be recommended to you near the Christmas time as this is the time where it tends to be the most romantic. The great thing about the cold weather is that you can get a bit closer with your partner.

A log cabin is also very popular and this tends to be in places like Canada where there is a lot of snow. This again can be very romantic near the Christmas period. Be warned that in the summer time there can be wandering bears and they will do almost anything to get at a bit of food.

Villas

I have saved this one till last simply because it is my personal choice. The main reason for this simply has to be to do with all of the privacy that can be had here. Many decent villas will come with a swimming pool that is there for your exclusive use. Usually the one that we rent comes with the swimming pool, pool table, darts board and other activitys, of course the inside ones are only played with during the evening and if the weather turns a bit nasty.

The main drawback is that you are most likely going to need a car when going to a villa as well as going out to buy the food and cooking. Of course you could do what we usually do and hit the local restaurants and try the foods from the culture.

of course you could always purchase a place just be aware that holiday homes insurance is not cheap.

However you can of course get that unique insurance like French house insurance as this could save you a bit of money, but whatever second homes insurance you get, make sure you choose the right one.
